"Snake Skin" Tread
The development of the tread used the unusual effect of "snake skin". Due to this, the tire perfectly copes with any difficulties during movement (rain, strong wind, etc.). The unique "snake skin" effect on the sidewall of the tire, aggressive tread pattern, and low noise level allow the Cobra tire to silently handle all obstacles in its path. The aggressive tread pattern was produced using the unique Following Grooves technology, which clearly reproduces the directions of the forces distributed along the tire. Special channels on the surface of the tread provide more even wear, increasing the mileage of the Avon Cobra tire. Each rear tire has a marking in the sidewall area - the head of a cobra.
The use of the Wide Custom Tread Arc technology made it possible to achieve maximum maneuverability qualities. At the same time, handling stability was not lost.
The Advanced-Variable Density Belt technology improved the quality of handling and stability of large sizes due to the use of a non-stop breaker made of the strongest material. A special cord is wound over the carcass - denser in the central part, which increased the characteristics of wear resistance and handling, and with increasing gaps on the sides, it created the effect of a "multi-layered" tread.
