The Volta Heavy DT-124 industrial tire is installed on wheel loaders and excavators. It is adapted for use on low-bearing soil, where it demonstrates increased passability. It is characterized by a low risk of mechanical damage and high traction.
The tread of the tire contains many wide lugs. Due to the chess arrangement of these elements in the central part, a continuous edge is formed, which reduces rolling resistance and heat generation when moving at high speeds. The complex polygonal shape increases the number and length of the edges formed by the lugs. Together with their significant height and sharp profile in the shoulder areas, this provides the tire with excellent efficiency in realizing traction on soil. At the same time, the large distance between the elements in the edge parts of the tread allows it not to "get clogged" on rough terrain, maintaining increased passability.
