The Voltaic F-201 tire was developed for special wheeled vehicles used in various industrial sectors, from construction to agriculture. But due to its 10.0/75-15.3 size, it has found wide application in the civilian sphere. It is popular among owners of domestic and foreign off-road vehicles, as it has a low price and exceptional efficiency on surfaces with low bearing capacity. However, it is worth noting the extremely low maximum speed for which this tire is designed - only 30 km/h. The manufacturer allows movement at 40 km/h, but with a significant reduction in load-carrying capacity - by 10%.
High performance off-road
This model is considered by off-road vehicle owners as a tire of the Mud Terrain category, and there are all reasons for this. The design of the tread pattern is characterized by the openness typical of MT tires. It contains many blocks, the arrangement and shape of which change depending on the installation location. In the shoulder areas, these elements are spaced at a significant distance, which allows the tread to get rid of both viscous water-land mixture and large stones. In fact, the very high shoulder blocks are powerful grouser, the curved shape of which allows for effective implementation of the entire power and traction potential of the vehicle's engine. This property is equally true when moving both forward and backward. It is for this reason that the tire is more often considered when choosing a tire for an off-road vehicle that is intensively used on heavy off-road terrain.
Decent efficiency on highways
Although the tire is not designed for high speeds, it demonstrates decent efficiency on them. This is ensured by the design of the central part of the tread. It also contains massive high blocks, but they differ from the similar shoulder elements in several features. First of all, this is a noticeably smaller distance between them and the longitudinal arrangement of the formed rib. Thanks to this, the contact patch has an area sufficient to provide reliable traction at high speed. At the same time, due to the arrangement of the blocks and their rhombic shape, the rolling resistance is reduced, and the directional stability is increased, and the rigidity of these elements improves the accuracy of steering.
Optimized compound
When choosing a composition for the rubber mixture of the tread, Russian tire manufacturers were guided not by the requests of off-road vehicle owners, but by the features of the operation and design of special industrial equipment. It is for this reason that the compound has increased rigidity and, as a consequence, resistance to aggressive mechanical impact. This gives the tire excellent reliability on stony and gravel roads. But at the same time, its ride is quite soft. The large height of the blocks, which deviate to the sides when mechanically affected, is noticeable.
