Transtone TT1260 — tyre for trucks and buses, created for intensive use on routes with a high proportion of intense accelerations, braking, and long straights.
Vector stability
The basis of the grip is a directional V-shaped scheme formed by rhomboid blocks. It creates multiple gripping edges — this solution increases the friction coefficient in the transverse direction, which is critical during sharp turns and on wet surfaces. The width of the drainage grooves is optimized to effectively drain water and dirt without reducing the block's stiffness — this provides responsive steering in any speed mode.
Mileage without overheating
The tread depth is a significant reserve that directly translates into hundreds of thousands of kilometers of operation. However, the decisive role is not only played by the depth, but also by the rubber compound. For the tyre, a thermally stable compound with an increased content of oxidation-resistant polymers has been developed. This composition solves two main problems of commercial tyres:
- resistance to abrasive wear — wear occurs evenly, maintaining the geometry of the contact area;
- resistance to thermal aging — during long trips in summer heat, the internal temperature of the carcass does not reach a critical threshold, which prevents.
Load capacity
The carcass is built using radial technology with a high-strength steel cord in the breaker zone and reinforced bead rings. The multi-layer structure provides low heat generation under high loads. The tyre allows for tread refurbishment, which increases its overall life cycle.
