Description Samson GR-A1
The commercial tyre Samson GR-A1 is positioned as a universal model for use on any axle, both of a truck and a large-capacity bus. It demonstrates the greatest efficiency in conditions of frequent stops, intense manoeuvring, and movement on roads of various quality, where even wear and resistance to lateral abrasion are particularly important.
Focus on wear resistance
The tyre tread pattern consists of continuous longitudinal ribs, the outermost of which are distinguished by their greatest massiveness and rigidity. When moving on city routes and regional roads, it is these elements that experience increased loads during turns and contact with curbs. This design of the shoulder areas reduces the intensity of uneven wear, which means that the tread remains functional for longer, ensuring stability of traction properties and increasing the mileage before tyre replacement.
Improved efficiency on wet surfaces
The central part of the tread contains numerous lamellas cut through the entire depth of the pattern. The edges formed by them increase traction and braking intensity on wet surfaces, and in combination with wide longitudinal grooves, they prevent the formation of a continuous water film between the tyre and the road surface, reducing the risk of aquaplaning and ensuring reliability of control over the vehicle in such conditions. Since these elements have the same depth as the entire tread pattern, their functionality is maintained throughout the life of the tyre.
Reliability during intense use
A special rubber compound is used for the model, designed for prolonged operation in regional transport. It is characterised by increased resistance to abrasion, "working" in conjunction with a steel belt, which, due to its rigidity, contributes to a more even distribution of load on the road surface, thereby reducing the level of abrasive impact on the tread.
Key features of Samson GR-A1:
- increased size and rigidity of the shoulder areas prevent rapid tread wear;
- lamellas cut through the entire depth of the tread improve traction properties on wet roads;
- the universal pattern allows the tyre to be used on any axle of a truck or bus;
- the combination of tread design, steel belt, and special compound increases the tyre's mileage on roads with worn-out surfaces.
