Royal Black TV008 – a tire created for universal use in a complex logistics network: from maneuvering in urban environments to cruising speeds on highways. Its architecture provides predictability of handling and safety regardless of the season — on wet asphalt, in winter slush, or with a light snow cover.
The base of the tire is not just a "road" pattern, but a purposefully stabilized platform. Three wide, segmented longitudinal ribs form a powerful contact patch with the road. This minimizes deformation of the tread under load, which directly leads to:
- reduced air resistance and, as a result, reduced fuel consumption;
- increased directional stability at high speeds, reducing driver fatigue;
- even pressure distribution, which extends the life and protects against local wear.
The central ribs consist of separate blocks, forming multiple channels and edges. Each of them works like a microscopic ground grip, activated under load. When braking or accelerating, they open up, increasing the number of cutting edges for effective "biting" into snow and wet surfaces. The geometry of the longitudinal grooves creates turbulence, which breaks up the water film and ensures its rapid evacuation from the contact patch, significantly increasing the threshold of hydroplaning.
A special all-season polymer rubber compound has been developed for the tire. It retains elasticity over a wide temperature range, providing traction on cold asphalt. Its structure is reinforced with components that increase resistance to abrasive wear and cuts, which is critical for urban cycles with curbs and construction sites.
