The commercial tire Otani OH-110 is installed on the drive axle. It is designed for regional transportation. It is characterized by increased load capacity, a long service life, and stable traction properties in borderline operating modes.
The increased load capacity of the tire is due to the reinforced design of the carcass and breaker. Both of these components are made of a full-metal cord, which gives them high carrying capacity and resistance to impact. This feature provides the possibility of multiple restoration of the tread part of the tire. Its tread part is distinguished by a high content of traction edges. They are formed by lamellas and are deployed across, which increases the traction force, especially on wet pavement. The stiffness of the ribs, where these elements are cut, is not disturbed, which achieves low rolling resistance, improved directional stability, and reduced uneven wear.
