One of them is the improvement of traction properties, ensured by a significant contact patch area. In addition, its large width reduces the specific pressure on the road surface. On the one hand, this reduces rolling resistance, and on the other hand, it increases the service life of the tread due to a decrease in the abrasive effect on it, as well as increases the tire's carrying capacity and resistance to impact loads.
