Description Normaks Hard Rock
Normaks Hard Rock is designed for the drive axles of trucks operating in the most severe conditions. Its main areas of application are construction, mining, quarry transport, and logging, where the road surface is a combination of gravel, rocky terrain, compacted soil, and industrial roads.
Tread pattern architecture for complex terrain
The tread pattern features a combination of numerous blocks forming virtually continuous zigzag-shaped transverse edges. This allows for effective traction on loose, unstable surfaces. The block configuration enables them to partially overlap each other in the contact patch, reducing heat buildup and rolling resistance, while the increased grooves between them facilitate the removal of dirt and small stones. The rigid bridges between individual elements also play a role, reducing their mobility and slowing down the development of uneven wear.
Special version for extreme loads
The choice of the tire's name is largely due to the use of a reinforced all-steel carcass, designed to withstand impact mechanical stress. Much of its resistance to this stress is achieved through the increased thickness of the breaker and tread, which is made from a special rubber compound - resistant to cuts, tears, and punctures, but with increased thermal conductivity, reducing heat buildup during prolonged driving with a high weight load. This maintains the tire's functionality even with significant tread wear.
Reliability in intensive commercial operation
The tread profile is virtually flat, allowing for even pressure distribution on the road surface, slowing down the wear process, and preventing the formation of cracks, especially under the influence of high weight loads. This solution contributes to greater stability of the traction and grip properties, making it easier to control the vehicle.
Key features of Normaks Hard Rock:
- The tread pattern of massive blocks with curved grooves provides high traction force and effective self-cleaning;
- The reinforced all-steel carcass and increased tread thickness increase resistance to damage, maintaining the tire's functionality over a long mileage;
- The virtually flat tread profile increases the tire's service life, providing more stable traction and grip properties.
