Tread pattern with double blocks
The tire is equipped with a tread developed using Twin Block technology. The innovation involves the presence of rigid bridges between the blocks of two adjacent rows. This limits the mobility of the tread elements, which in turn improves the stability of the coupling properties. At the same time, numerous additional edges are formed, which give the tire more confident behavior on slippery surfaces.
The advantage of double blocks is the optimization of the distribution of external load on the contact patch, which makes the tread wear more even and, as a result, increases its service life.
Confident coupling
Each tread block has several narrow slits. The wavy lamellas form a multitude of sharp edges that the tire grips on slippery surfaces. At the same time, the shape of the slits limits the mobility of the blocks, which improves the stability of the coupling properties. If necessary, they can be repeatedly reinforced by installing studs. The Finnish manufacturer has provided special places for their installation, located in eight rows.
