The LingLong T820 cargo tire is one of the latest developments from a well-known and respected Chinese manufacturer worldwide. The latest innovation in the tire industry from China is designed for modern trailer equipment using single wheel pairs. This is evidenced by the size range, represented by a single size 445/45 for wheels with a mounting diameter of 19.5 inches. At the same time, despite its small size, this model has quite high load-carrying capacity, which, depending on the version, reaches 4.5 tons per axle. Also, it is impossible not to mention the very long service life, which is largely provided by the increased depth of the tread pattern up to 15.5 mm.

Multi-rib design of the tread pattern

The increased width of the LingLong T820 tread has allowed Chinese tire makers to radically increase the number of longitudinal elements. The tread pattern of this model has seven ribs, only two of which are shoulder zones. This design provides the tire with exceptionally high directional stability in any road conditions.

In addition, it is impossible not to mention the almost equal size of each of the tread ribs. This design feature, in combination with the flat tread profile, gives the contact patch an almost rectangular shape. This, in turn, leads to the optimization of the distribution of external pressure on it, which has a beneficial effect on the load-carrying capacity, resistance to uneven wear and impact loads.

High braking efficiency

Despite the complete absence of any blocks, the tread pattern of this model contains a sufficient number of engagement edges. They are formed by numerous S-shaped lamellas. In the process of movement, these tread elements, opening up, form a multitude of sharp engagement edges, thanks to which this tire demonstrates a shortened braking distance, especially on a wet road.
