The Kumho RS02 commercial tire is installed on the steering axle of medium and large capacity trucks. It is recommended by the manufacturer for use on highways. In such conditions, it is characterized by precision handling, directional stability, low wear intensity, and reliability.

The tread pattern is designed in a closed design with five solid ribs. This solution provides uniform distribution of the vehicle's weight pressure on the road surface, which significantly reduces the level of abrasive impact on the tread. The rigid construction of the ribs increases directional stability at high speeds, handling precision during maneuvering, and reduces rolling resistance. The continuous longitudinal notch in the central rib and numerous lamellas in the adjacent elements, along with the drainage grooves, improve the traction properties on a wet surface.
