Kama NT 201 – a tire designed for free-rolling axles of semi-trailers and trailers for local and long-haul transportation. It is produced and developed jointly with the German consortium Continental AG, which is known worldwide. At present, many buses and trucks are operated at high speeds and are required to withstand increased loads. Therefore, increased requirements are imposed on the tire.
Requirements for the KAMA NT201 tire
The Kama NT 201 tire meets all global requirements and is able to compete with foreign tire manufacturers.
The rubber compound used to produce the tread contains silicon, which prevents rapid wear of the tire, increases passability and road grip on wet surfaces.
The tread has a design with closed shoulder zones, increasing the contact area of the tire with the road, adding grip and increasing the service life. The lamellas, having a spiral shape and longitudinal grooves, prevent the jamming of stones, helping to quickly remove slush and water from the contact patches. The longitudinal grooves have a snake-like shape, preventing stones from getting stuck in the tread.
