In November of last year, the Nizhnekamsk tire factory CMK launched the production of a new model of tires Kama NR 701, designed for trucks that operate in any conditions - on asphalt or gravel surfaces, as well as in quarries, etc. The technology for producing such tires was acquired by the Kama factory from the company Continental. They are manufactured using a new technology that allows, on the one hand, to save fuel consumption, and on the other hand, to increase the traction, cargo, and other characteristics. This tire surpasses its predecessors in all parameters, but at the same time, it is comparable to them in price, which will pleasantly surprise the Russian motorist.

The Kama tread was developed specifically to increase the contact zone with the road surface. The tread composition includes silica and improved technical carbon, which increases the elasticity of the tire, prevents it from freezing at large negative temperatures, and also reduces the braking distance. The original tread pattern provides excellent traction with the road, so even ice will not be a problem for NR 701. As for driving in warm weather, the tread of the tire has extended grooves that effectively remove water, dirt, and wet snow from the contact patch, minimizing the risk of aquaplaning.

The carrying capacity of this tire has also been increased - Kama NR 701 is eight percent "more enduring". And, finally, the last positive characteristics of this tire are its low noise level and environmental friendliness, which is achieved due to reduced fuel consumption.
