Description Greentrac GTRD1
The Greentrac GTRD1 model is designed for heavy commercial transport that operates in an intensive cycle. These vehicles daily bear a load, often work with a full load, and require from tyres not just reliability, but predictable economy: reduction of fuel consumption, increase of maintenance intervals, and stability of characteristics regardless of weather.
Drainage system
The basis of the tread pattern is a developed network of water drainage channels. Here, the volume of drainage cavities has been increased by 10% compared to analogues, which provides:
- instant removal of the water film from the contact patch;
- preservation of grip even in deep puddles;
- effective cleaning of grooves from small gravel and road dirt, which reduces the efficiency of drainage over time.
Maneuvering accuracy and directional stability
The tread is built on several longitudinal ribs with segmentation, performing the role of power guides. Their structure provides minimal deformation when transmitting torque, which gives a clear response to every steering movement, a stable trajectory when moving in a straight line, and even wear on the tread.
Optimization of friction and abrasive impact
In the model, the rubber compound has been modified by introducing a special package of technological additives, which solves two opposing tasks:
- the polymeric modifiers included in the composition reduce the internal friction of the rubber. This is directly converted into a reduction in rolling resistance;
- special fillers form a wear-resistant microstructure that resists abrasion. As a result, the tread retains its working depth longer, increasing the overall service life.
It is important that these additives do not worsen the elasticity of the rubber at high summer temperatures — the compound remains flexible enough to provide grip on heated asphalt.
Key features of Greentrac GTRD1:
- the model is adapted to the load modes of large trucks, ensuring stability of characteristics with variable loading;
- the developed drainage system with an increased volume of water drainage channels instantly evacuates moisture, preserving grip;
- optimized geometry and special compound reduce rolling losses;
- the package of additives in the compound reduces abrasive wear, increasing mileage;
- the ribbed structure of the tread and the reinforced breaker provide accurate maneuvering and stability on a straight line.
