Tread Pattern Architecture
The tread pattern is based on individual blocks arranged in an optimized layout. Their geometry is designed such that in motion, they form continuous transverse curved edges across the entire tread width. This engineering solution provides:
- confident traction;
- reversible grip – the pattern is symmetrical about the transverse axis, so traction properties are preserved when moving both forward and backward;
At the same time, the blocks have beveled edges, which reduces the risk of chipping when contacting sharp stones and decreases the vibration load on the suspension.
Voids as a Cooling System
Deep inter-block grooves and significant voids between elements perform not only the function of drainage and self-cleaning but also actively participate in heat dissipation. During prolonged movement with a full load, heat accumulates in the tread due to cyclic deformations. The open structure allows convective air flows to effectively dissipate excess temperature from the rubber mass, maintaining the elasticity of the compound. This is especially important on long hauls at high speeds, when overheating becomes the main enemy of tread life.
Wear Resistance and Chip Resistance
A special rubber compound recipe has been developed for this model, enriched with polymeric modifiers. This compound demonstrates:
- resistance to abrasive wear;
- stability against chip formation and cracking.
Additionally, the reinforced breaker belt with metal cord provides high load-carrying capacity and protection against punctures, allowing the tyre to withstand increased loads without losing hermeticity.
