Modernized rubber compound composition
When creating the rubber compound, a large number of new components were used, which made it possible to significantly improve the driving characteristics of the GT Radial GSR220 tire. The high silicon content provides excellent elasticity. This increases the grip with the road surface and accelerates the recovery properties, which helps to reduce the load on the suspension elements. Therefore, the tire has excellent stability and maximum comfort on any road surface, as the tread "swallows" all unevenness. To improve wear-resistant properties, silicon was used, which had a positive effect on the service life. The new rubber compound has improved speed characteristics and reduced braking distance.
New water drainage system
A lot of time was spent on creating a water drainage system consisting of four longitudinal channels and a large number of small transverse channels. The massive longitudinal channels quickly remove water from the tread, ensuring increased grip with the wet road surface. A large number of small lamellas not only increase the grip of the tread but also reduce noise when driving, providing increased ride comfort.
The new carcass structure made it possible to increase the contact patch, which contributed to improved stability and handling.
After production, the tire undergoes thorough electronic and visual inspection, which excludes the possibility of a defective batch entering the market.
