Optimized tread structure
When creating the tread, the method of computer 3D modeling was used, which made it possible to achieve an improved arrangement of blocks, as well as channels between them. Three rows of wide continuous blocks in the central part of the Fesite HF660 tread provide confident handling and quick feedback.
Massive side zones provide high-quality protection against punctures and damage, increasing stability when cornering. The increased number of lamellas and wide grooves accelerates the removal of water and dirt from the contact area, minimizing the occurrence of aquaplaning. Also, the special structure of the lamellas reduces noise when driving. The optimized tread structure made it possible to achieve an increased contact patch with the road surface, which increased stability and handling.
New rubber compound
When creating the tread, a new rubber compound was used, which improved the speed and braking characteristics. The increased silica content increased the elasticity of the rubber, ensuring excellent grip on a wet road surface and reducing the braking distance. The use of silicon increased the wear resistance of the rubber, providing an increased tire mileage. Also, the new rubber compound provided minimal rolling resistance, which allowed reducing fuel consumption when driving.
