The Cordiant Professional VM-1 cargo tire is installed on commercial vehicles of various purposes, including buses and trolleybuses. It is designed for operation on road surfaces of various qualities, including construction sites. In addition, the Russian manufacturer allows the use of the tire on both the steering and driving axles.

"Stone ejectors"

The tire is characterized by high reliability in operation. It is largely ensured by special elements at the bottom of the drainage grooves. They are equipped with small narrow protrusions, which, along with the zigzag shape of the longitudinal ribs, prevent foreign solid objects from getting stuck in the tread.

Special rubber compound

The tire tread is made of a rubber compound with several pronounced properties. One of them is increased strength against tearing and stretching. Special polymeric compounds in the composition of the compound enhance the molecular bonds between all its components. As a result, the tire demonstrates excellent resistance to punctures and cuts. In addition, the use of modern materials provides a significant reduction in rolling resistance and fuel consumption along with it.

Reinforced sidewalls

When developing the tire, the Steel-Cor technology was used. It represents a whole complex of technical solutions, part of which relates to the design of the sidewalls. They were significantly strengthened by an additional steel cord. On the one hand, this improved the protection of the most vulnerable zone to mechanical damage, and on the other hand, it increased the carrying capacity of the carcass and, together with it, the load capacity of the tire as a whole.
