The commercial tire Bridgestone RW-Drive 001 is designed for long-haul tractors, trucks, and high-capacity buses. It is installed on the driving axle. This is one of the few models in this category that was specifically designed for use on slippery winter roads, standing out with reliable traction properties on them.
The tread pattern is rich in zigzag lamellas cut into almost all blocks. The sharp edges formed by them allow for better realization of traction and braking effort on wet and icy surfaces. The effectiveness of the tread in snow is ensured by the high edges of numerous blocks. The elements are distributed along the longitudinal ribs, which reduces rolling resistance and wear. The "checkerboard" arrangement of the blocks increases the contact patch and improves acoustic comfort.
