Attar OR A – a tire that represents a solution for regional transportation. Designed for the driving axles of trucks and semi-trailers, it is created for conditions where the vehicle experiences not a monotonous highway load, but constant stress from alternating accelerations, intense braking, and maneuvering on roads with variable coverage. Each of its technical features is aimed at solving the three main tasks of this segment: ensuring undisputed superiority in traction on wet asphalt, achieving maximum fuel efficiency, and guaranteeing structural integrity in conditions of increased impact and abrasive loads.
Multifunctionality of the central zone
The basis of the tread is a system of three powerful longitudinal ribs. The central one has a segmented structure. It is formed by a series of independent blocks equipped with extended transverse lamella-edges. The latter act as microscopic scrapers, aggressively breaking the water film. This provides an unprecedentedly short braking distance and confident acceleration on a wet road. Despite the segmentation, the blocks are rigidly integrated into a single rib, which preserves the advantages of a monolithic structure - high directional stability.
Lateral lugs
The shoulder ribs are also represented by separate block elements. Their resistance to deformation and uneven wear when passing turns and roundabouts under load significantly increases the overall resource of the tread. In addition, increased transverse stiffness for instant response to steering and stability at high speeds on the highway.
Design for point loads
The tire is built on a reinforced carcass with a high modulus of fatigue strength, designed for constant cycles of acceleration and braking. A special rubber compound protects against chips and cuts characteristic of urban and suburban roads with non-ideal coverage.
