The Amberstone 100 commercial tire is recommended for installation on the steering axles of trucks and tractors used in regional and long-haul transportation. It is distinguished by comfort handling and stable traction properties at high speeds, wet handling, fuel efficiency, and wear resistance.
The closed tread pattern is a combination of five longitudinal ribs. The elements at the edges are enlarged, which gives them increased stiffness. This prevents uneven wear of the tread, provides more accurate handling and stable traction when maneuvering. A solid longitudinal rib in the middle enhances these properties. Also worth noting is the presence of zigzag-shaped lamellas in the central part. Their sharpened edges allow for intense braking on wet surfaces.
Key features of Amberstone 100
- a rigid solid rib in the middle and reinforced shoulder areas prevent uneven wear, increase handling accuracy and directional stability;
- zigzag-shaped notches in the central part provide intense braking on wet surfaces, and wide longitudinal grooves provide resistance to aquaplaning;
- a ribbed profile of the outer part of the sidewalls protects them from damage when driving over curbs.
