Advance GLE-2 — a tire for special equipment, designed to operate in conditions of maximum abrasive and impact exposure. Created for loaders, dump trucks, tractors, mobile drilling rigs engaged in cyclic earthworks on rocky soil, it implements the strategy of "active armor", where every element is aimed at absorbing impact energy and counteracting destruction.
Zonal structure
The central zone with medium-sized blocks forms a stabilizing track. This design minimizes deformation and slippage of elements when moving on a dense base, which reduces resistance. Enlarged, tractor-type shoulder blocks perform the role of active soil grippers. Their profile and increased side edge provide deep grip on loose dumps and loose bases, effectively converting torque into traction and preventing destructive wheel spin.
Depth as a safety reserve
The tread height is not only a wear reserve, but also a buffer safety zone. A thick layer of special rubber between the carcass and stones works as a shock absorber, absorbing impact energy and preventing the concentration of stresses that lead to cuts and punctures. This strategy extends the life of the tire.
Carcass for impact loads
The model is built on the basis of a reinforced diagonal carcass with a multilayer textile cord and protective elements in the sidewall area. This traditional but reinforced design is specifically designed to withstand impact and tearing loads characteristic of quarry work. It provides increased carrying capacity and integrity when driving over sharp rock projections, preventing sidewall tears and deformations.
Compound specifications
A specialized compound is applied here, enriched with ultra-strong polymers and reinforcing fibers. Its key properties are extreme resistance to tears and cuts, as well as high resistance to abrasive wear. The mixture retains elasticity to dampen shocks, while having the necessary stiffness to resist deformations under the weight of the load.
