The Advance GL268D commercial tire is installed on the driving axle of tractors and large-capacity trucks. A versatile model designed for use on both high-speed highways and regional roads, including in winter. In such conditions, the tire is distinguished by high traction and reliable coupling properties.
The tread pattern is characterized by a large number of blocks. The polygonal shape of the elements increases the number of edges formed by them and provides them with multidirectionality. This solution allowed not only to increase traction but also to give it stability, especially on slippery winter surfaces. The distribution of blocks along the longitudinal rows and their "chess" arrangement increases the contact patch, which improves the stability of the coupling properties at high speed, reduces rolling resistance, and increases the wear resistance of the tread.
Main features of Advance GL268D
- a tread pattern with multiple blocks and Z-shaped lamellas provides high traction even on slippery winter surfaces;
- the longitudinal arrangement of elements reduces rolling resistance, increases directional stability;
- optimization of the tread profile and its pattern increases the contact patch and reduces pressure on the road surface, increasing wear resistance.
