The mid-size sedan Zotye Z560 was in serial production from 2017 to 2021, representing a modernized version of the 2014 Z500. Against the background of its predecessor, the sedan stood out with a completely redesigned front body part. The front headlights became visually narrower, and there were noticeably more chrome-plated elements in the design.

Changes also affected the rear. The rear lights received a different internal structure and were combined with a decorative chrome strip, which visually expanded the body. In addition, the wheel disks and body color palette were updated.

The most serious modernization took place in the salon. Unlike the Z500 with a traditional central console architecture, the new product received a modern front panel with a vertically oriented touchscreen multimedia display. The large number of physical buttons almost disappeared, and the interior looked significantly more technological. The level of equipment also increased. In the top version, there were an electronic parking brake, a surround view system, extended multimedia functions, and improved trim materials. Technical features

In terms of technology, the sedan was unified with the previous model. The same platform and chassis were used here, including a multi-link rear suspension. The ride settings retained an emphasis on comfort. It stood out for its smooth ride on uneven roads, but at the same time, it had better stability at high speed, despite the presence of a 1.5-liter turbo engine with 150 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque under the hood. It was combined with a 5-speed manual transmission or a variator. The automated transmission gave the car a smooth acceleration process and low fuel consumption. The settings of this "coupling" were such that the sedan demonstrated the greatest dynamics in the middle range, which significantly simplified the management process on high-speed highways.

Interior with a focus on "premium"

One of the strengths was its interior, which created a sense of expensiveness of the entire car as a whole. The trim used soft-to-the-touch plastic, decorative inserts with imitation of natural materials, as well as leather seat trim. The front console stood out with a vertical arrangement of a 10-inch multimedia system display. Through the screen, control was carried out over satellite navigation, climate control, and a significant part of the machine's service settings, along with the basic functionality — wireless connection of smartphones and other wearable gadgets. In the top version, a color display was present on the dashboard, which displayed various secondary information, as well as an electric drive of the parking brake, a keyless access system, a start button, and 2-zone control.

The front seats had a wide range of adjustments and soft padding, oriented towards long trips. The rear row stood out with a large supply of legroom, thanks to which the model was often used as a family transport or corporate sedan.
