Both stabilizers of transverse stability are equipped with a disconnecting electric drive, which allows increasing the working stroke of the shock absorbers by an additional 60 mm.

At the start of sales in China, the car was only available with a hybrid powertrain. Under the hood was a 3-liter V6 gasoline engine with a double sequential turbocharger, producing 360 hp and 560 Nm. It is supplemented by a traction electric motor that produces up to 163 hp and 400 Nm during peak loads, which was integrated into a 9-speed hydro-mechanical transmission. The energy source for it is a 37.1 kWh battery pack located under the floor of the luggage compartment, which is why it has a significant height and a small volume - only 392 liters. Such a "burden" significantly increases the weight of the SUV, which reaches the maximum values for category B - 3190 kg in the equipped state. The total output of such a power unit reaches 422 hp and 800 Nm, and during peak loads - 517 hp, which allows acceleration to "hundred" in just 5.9 seconds. There is the possibility of overcoming up to 100 kilometers on electric traction without recharging. For markets in other countries, Great Wall offers a gasoline version of the SUV with the same 3-liter engine, which accelerates to "hundred" in 8.8 seconds.
