Quite a young company Qoros is a "product" of the interaction between Israel Corp. and the Chinese manufacturer Chery. It was founded in 2007, but began its full-fledged activity only in 2013. The culprit is the economic crisis of 2008, which slowed down the processes of building factory sites.

The first model that came off the company's assembly line was the Qoros 3. This is a small sedan that was equipped with a 1.6-liter engine with and without a turbine. Sales started at the end of 2013 within the country, and in a few months reached almost 1,500 units. The situation improved slightly, but still far from the planned mark of 150,000 cars per year.

In 2016, the manufacturer announced its intention to conquer the European market. For this, a large-scale advertising campaign was launched. But the plans did not come true. As a result, the activity was redirected to South America.

In 2018, the controlling stake was acquired by Baoneng Investment Group. Against the backdrop of a change in leadership and improved financing, a new "brainchild" was presented - Qoros 7. This is a large crossover that is equipped with numerous assistants and systems that improve control over transport.
