Technical side

The crossover is built on the new NT2 platform, which was previously used by the manufacturer only for creating sedans. Its main feature is more modern technical equipment, the basis of which is the Nio Adam system. In terms of its capabilities, it surpasses the analogue of "Tesla" several times, which makes it possible to more effectively process data from 33 sensors, and do it in real time. Thanks to this, the modern Nio Autonomous Driving autopilot (third generation) was implemented. As for the engine, it has only one version - one power unit per axis. On the front, an electric motor with 245 horsepower, on the rear - with 408 horsepower. The total power output is 653 horsepower, and the torque is 850 Nm. This is enough to accelerate the crossover to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds. And the maximum speed is limited to 200 km/h. To power the motors, a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 75 kW or 100 kW is provided. With the first, the car can travel up to 485 km, and with the second - 620 km. It is assumed that a more charged model with a 150 kW battery will be released, the range of which will be 850 km on a single charge. It is noteworthy that only one GB/T port is used for charging, which requires a constant current. Therefore, it is not possible to replenish the energy reserve from a household network. But there is also an advantage to this system - it allows you to connect an electrical appliance with a total power of up to 3 kW.

The suspension is represented by a pneumatic system with adaptive type shock absorbers. This made it possible to improve comfort, minimizing the level of vibrations in the cabin. The body itself, like the frame, is made of an aluminum structure. This was done to reduce the overall weight of the vehicle. Despite this, the crossover demonstrated excellent safety performance, receiving the maximum five stars in the international testing system.

Salon and equipment

The interior space is represented by five seats, which are covered with Nappa leather. In the front, there is a 10.2-inch digital instrument panel, which is complemented by a 12.8-inch touch screen, through which the main functions are controlled. Note that there is also a virtual assistant, which is implemented using an original figurine above the screen, but it only communicates in Chinese for now. A large panoramic roof, premium audio with 23 speakers at 1000 W is provided. A distinctive feature of the model was the presence of a tow bar, which comes in the factory package. According to the manufacturer, the crossover can tow up to 2 tons. The technical characteristics of the model allow you to install wheels up to 21 inches.
