The Kinglong company was founded in 1988 and at the initial stages of its development worked as an "assembly shop" for vehicles from more renowned brands from Japan, South Korea, and others. Its main activity to this day is the development and production of buses for various spheres.

History

A year after its founding, it signed a contract with "Toyota", under which the company was able to establish the assembly of some Japanese models released under its Kinglong brand. A similar situation occurred in 1991 with Hyundai. Two years later, the management decided to develop its own models, reducing the number of assemblies for third-party manufacturers. The result of this activity was the presentation of a whole line of bus equipment in 1995. Moreover, these were models fully developed by the manufacturer. At that time, there were about 30 modifications that could be used in various fields. Such a diverse range of buses allowed the company to enter the global market, starting deliveries to Thailand, Venezuela, and the UAE.

The next step in development was the construction of a plant in South America. This allowed the company to expand its sales market and reach the international level.

In 2010, the company also located a plant in Romania, opening up the European market for itself.

Now Kinglong is the second-largest producer and seller of buses in the world. This position ensures the widespread use of its equipment in all countries of the world, including Russia.
