The GAC Toyota Wildlander has been on sale since autumn 2019. The car is one of the variants of the RAV4 crossover, designed for the Chinese domestic market. The model is produced there, at a joint venture with the GAC concern, differing from the "original" primarily in its changed exterior.

The new parts have increased the length of the car by 65 mm, bringing this figure to 4665 mm. The rear has received minor changes in the form of updated taillights and decorative elements between them. The interior of the crossover has been left unchanged, being completely identical to the standard RAV4, but with a so-called "Chinese" feature - the most equipped versions of the trim have a 10-inch diagonal multimedia system display, rather than the 8-inch one found in cars for other countries.

The engine range starts with a 2-liter "atmospheric" gasoline engine producing 171 horsepower, which is combined with a variator and front-wheel drive. As an alternative, a hybrid powertrain is offered with a 2.5-liter gasoline "four" producing 178 horsepower, which is supplemented by a 120-horsepower electric motor. It works in conjunction with an electromechanical variator. Under peak loads, this powertrain produces up to 218 horsepower. For an additional fee, it is offered with an E-Four all-wheel-drive system with a separate electric motor producing 54 horsepower on the rear axle. The list of additional options includes 2-color wheel rims with a diameter of 17 to 19 inches, which, along with other products, can be purchased in the "Mosavtoshina" online store.
