The Ciimo M-NV was introduced in 2021. The vehicle is an export version of the electric crossover Honda M-NV, a model produced in China in a joint venture with the Dongfeng consortium. Both cars are based on the Honda HR-V of the second generation, model year 2015.

Design Features

The car is built on the Global Small platform developed by Honda, but in a modified version, providing for the integration of electric powertrain components. The range of powertrains is represented by a single electric motor that drives the front wheels. Under peak loads, its output is 163 hp and 280 Nm. The traction battery with a capacity of 61 kWh serves as a power source for it. It provides a range of up to 480 kilometers. The on-board charging device supports fast charging with direct current: from 30 to 80% in 40 minutes. A mode of operation with alternating current sources is available, taking up to 8 hours.

The chassis is almost completely "borrowed" from the original Honda model - McPherson struts at the front and a semi-dependent beam at the rear. However, its settings are adapted to the increased mass and different weight distribution of the car along the axes. The shock absorbers work softer on small bumps, and the stabilizers, due to the increased cross-section and changed mounting points, significantly reduce roll in turns. The braking system is used for energy recovery during deceleration, in several modes, through the most "rigid" of which the function of movement with "one pedal" is implemented.

Differences in Equipment

The salon is significantly different from the original HR-V and minimally from the Honda M-NV. The central element of the front console is a vertically oriented "tablet" multimedia system with a fairly wide range of functions: charging control, route planning with energy reserve, consumption monitoring. The instrument panel is fully digital, with customizable display modes. The equipment includes climate control, keyless access, electronic parking brake, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping system, automatic emergency braking, and all-around cameras. Compared to the "Honda M-NV", the export car received an expanded list of standard equipment and software localized for the key sales markets for this model - the countries of the post-Soviet space.
