The crossover, which debuted in 2015 in the model range of the Chinese brand, was located one step above the popular CS35 in our country, in fact, representing its better-equipped version. The exterior and interior of both models were created by the Italian company LDA Design, which favorably distinguished them from their predecessors. Especially in the salon, where the instrument panel had only analog speedometer and tachometer scales, and special recesses in the armrests were used instead of internal door handles. It is worth noting the equipment, which is more than extensive by the standards of this class. Most of the released instances were equipped with a multimedia system with a color display, rearview camera, and automatic parking system.

Updated version

In 2018, the updated version of the "crossover" debuted. Against the background of its predecessor, the car stood out with a different design of the front part, stylistically closer to the current models of the Chinese brand, as well as a rear door, the lower edge of which was located significantly lower than before. In addition, the design of the rear lights, mirrors, and plastic elements on the doors has changed.

The interior of the crossover has undergone no less significant changes, having received a new front console. It contained an enlarged instrument panel display and a wide-format multimedia system screen, covered with a common visor. Top versions received two-tone upholstery for seats.

In technical terms, the car stood out with a revised rear suspension, which, although it retained a semi-dependent beam, added 10 mm to the wheelbase, bringing this indicator to 2520 mm. The remaining technical components remained unchanged - a 1.5-liter engine with 107 horsepower, a 5-speed manual transmission or variator.
