Decided to try not to pay crazy money for a Mitas or Metzeler. And I didn't lose out at all. The Kawa Z1000 is an excellent holder on dry roads, both in cold and hot temperatures. When cornering on sand or markings, it doesn't slip. Of course, it's not a Mitas on wet roads, but the bike behaves predictably! I definitely recommend buying it.
