Winter tires Yokohama approved for Mercedes E-Class
Yokohama Rubber has announced that the winter tires ADVAN Winter V907 have been approved as replacement tires for the Mercedes-Benz E-Class. The offered sizes are 245/45 R19 for the front axle and 275/40 R19 for the rear axle. Previously, the tires had also been approved for the Mercedes-AMG E 53 Hybrid 4Matic+, and they are currently being sold mainly in the European market through Mercedes' dealerships.
Last year, the V907 became the first winter tire to be added to the flagship ADVAN line in 17 years. The manufacturer notes that its development utilized technologies that made the summer tires from the ADVAN Sport family popular among leading premium car manufacturers, including Mercedes, as well as knowledge gained from years of developing tires for cold weather conditions.

"The result is a winter tire with an unusual set of characteristics," the company says. "In addition to its excellent performance on snow, the ADVAN Winter V907 also provides optimal comfort and stability on dry asphalt at high speeds, typical of powerful cars."
The tires for the E-Class and Mercedes-AMG E 53 Hybrid 4Matic+ were developed in collaboration with Mercedes-AMG, as indicated by the MO1A marking on the sidewalls. Overall, Yokohama has extensive experience collaborating with the German automaker, and, for example, the summer tires ADVAN Sport V107 were homologated for the LA 35 4Matic and CLE 53 4Matic+ Coupe.
