Zhongyi to triple passenger tire production

Zhongyi Rubber Co., Ltd. has announced its intention to expand the plant in Dongying (Shandong, China) and launch a new production facility with a capacity of 12 million passenger tires per year. Currently, an analysis of possible risks associated with the project is being carried out, and the company has invited the public to discuss the issue.

As part of the project, whose cost is not disclosed, a new production workshop with an area of 80,000 m2 will be built, which will accommodate a total of 260 units of equipment. Per year, the new lines will produce 4 million High- and Ultra-High Performance tires, 6.5 million tires adapted for use on electric and hybrid vehicles, as well as 1.5 million off-road tires of various categories.

Zhongyi was founded in 2016 and is currently capable of producing up to 3 million truck and 6 million passenger tires, and the company is also engaged in the production of conveyor belts. Passenger car tires are produced under the Ardent, Arduzza, Centara and Joyroad brands.
