The Zeekr 001 is equipped with Continental tires
The Chinese car brand Zeekr, owned by Geely, has chosen premium tires from Continental with a diameter of 22 inches to equip its new electric liftback 001, the tire company's press service reported.
The Zeekr 001 is equipped with Continental PremiumContact 6 tires with a construction optimized to improve control and stability when cornering at high speeds, while the special silica-reinforced tire compound is designed to reduce braking distances and increase safety in all weather conditions during the summer period. In addition to this, the low rolling resistance helps to increase the electric car's range.

In Continental, they emphasize that during the development of tires, the company focuses, among other things, on improving energy efficiency, acoustic comfort, and durability, and all these factors are even more important when operating tires on electric vehicles. Additionally, thanks to the increased load index, the tires are optimally suited for vehicles equipped with heavy batteries. Currently, nine out of ten of the largest electric car manufacturers in the Asia-Pacific region equip their vehicles with Continental tires, and Zeekr has also recently approved the German brand's tires for the electric crossover 7X.
For the Zeekr 001, the tires will be supplied "in many countries around the world" in the size 265/40 R22.
