The Sentury Tire plant in Rayong (Thailand) was not affected by the recent earthquake, and potential delays in tire shipments are expected to be minimal, according to the company's US division, which added that disaster relief efforts may impact supplies due to port closures and logistical complexities.

The plant in Tangier (Morocco) will be used as an alternative source of products. Regarding supplies to the US market, the company emphasized that warehouses are fully stocked, which will help dealers in case of a potential tire shortage.

On March 28, an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 occurred near Mandalay in Myanmar, killing over 2,000 people.

"Our thoughts are with those affected by this tragedy," said Maxwell Wei, Executive Vice President of Sentury Tire USA. "The resilience of the people of Thailand is truly inspiring, and we will continue to support our partners, employees, and the local community."
