Linglong held a meeting with partners in Madrid to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Linglong International Tire (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (LITT) factory, located in the Thai province of Chonburi and once the company's first production site outside of China.

The Chonburi factory was built as part of the "7+5" strategy, implying that Linglong intends to own seven tire factories in China and five abroad. The construction of the enterprise began at the end of 2012, in January 2014, the first passenger tires were released, and in 2015, the factory also started producing tires for trucks and buses.

The plant uses more than 600 units of equipment from suppliers from Germany, the Netherlands, Japan, the USA, and other countries, which, according to the company, significantly increase the efficiency of production processes, while "the production of environmentally friendly, high-tech, and high-quality products of the middle and upper classes has laid a solid foundation for the development of Linglong and strengthened our competitiveness in the international market".

Currently, the factory is capable of producing more than 17.2 million tires per year, and products are exported to North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific region. The total sales volume has reached 112 million tires, and LITT also cooperates with various leading automakers, such as Stellantis and Ford, which have been supplied with a total of 1.418 million tires.

In Linglong, they emphasize that LITT actively promotes the strengthening of ties between Thailand and China, pays great attention to environmental protection, participates in charitable projects, and provides support to schools, hospitals, the Red Cross, etc. Throughout its history, the factory has received a number of awards, including for achievements in the field of preventing environmental damage.

"The plant in Thailand, which was the first enterprise created under our internationalization strategy, has become a model for Chinese companies' tire factories abroad," noted Wang Feng, Chairman of the Board of Linglong. "In the future, we will continue to optimize our production processes to supply even higher-quality products to customers in the Asia-Pacific region, South Asia, the Middle East, and other regions."

Not long ago, Linglong launched a factory in Serbia, and in September 2024, it was reported that the company may also localize production in Mexico.
