Linglong Plant in Serbia Launched Mass Production
President of Serbia, Alexander Vucic, attended the launch of mass production at the Zrenjanin plant of Chinese tire company Linglong.
Production at the plant began last year, with investments estimated at 800 million euros, and the company's staff will consist of around 1,900 people, with more than 1,200 already employed. According to Vucic, this is currently the largest investment project in the creation of a new enterprise in Serbia's history, and the plant will export products worth up to 200 million euros this year and up to 500 million euros next year.

The plant, located an hour's drive from Belgrade, produces tires for passenger and commercial vehicles, as well as special equipment, and covers an area of 500,000 m2. The plant's projected capacity is 14 million tires per year.
In recent months, the plant's products have been certified by leading automakers such as Nissan, Volkswagen, Audi, Ford, Stellantis, Hyundai, and Kia, as well as MAN, which intend to purchase them for equipping their vehicles.
