BKT's Bhuj plant manufactures first radial agricultural tyre

The Balkrishna Industries Ltd. (BKT) plant in Bhuj, India, has released its first radial agricultural tire. The company plans to reach full production capacity of 50,000 metric tons at the plant within six months.

"Global demand for agricultural tires is on the rise. There is every reason to believe that growth in this sector is imminent, and in line with the company's growth and quality concept, this current expansion will meet the expectations of our long-standing customers," says Arvind Poddar, Chairman and Managing Director of BKT.

"At one of the most difficult times the world has faced due to the 2021 pandemic, we adopted a strategy that enabled us to satisfy even the most demanding customers and deliver our products according to their needs," he adds.
