Yokohama Rubber launches production at Indian plant for off-road tires

Production has begun at Yokohama Rubber's recently constructed plant in Visakhapatnam (India), which expands the production capacity of Yokohama Off-Highway Tires (YOHT), a subsidiary that specializes in the manufacture of off-highway tires for agricultural, forestry, construction, and industrial equipment.

The start of production at the plant was scheduled for 2023, but the earlier start-up will enable YOHT to meet the growing global demand for its products.
