Yokohama Rubber closes Prague OHT plant

The former off-highway tire (OHT) manufacturing plant of Mitas in Prague, Czech Republic, will cease production by the middle of this year.

Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd. (YRC) has decided to close the plant, which is operated by its subsidiary Yokohama TWS Czech Republic a.s., as part of an efficiency improvement program. The production program of the Prague plant will be transferred to other YRC group plants.
