Yokohama Rubber makes Chinese conveyor belt manufacturer a wholly owned subsidiary

Yokohama Rubber Co, Ltd. has acquired a 22.98% stake in Shandong Yokohama Rubber Industrial Products Co., Ltd. (YRSC), making the conveyor belt manufacturer a consolidated subsidiary. The deal was completed on July 18.

Yokohama's board member, Shigehiko Amano, will continue to lead the firm as chairman.
