Yokohama supplies tires for Subaru Uncharted

Yokohama Rubber has announced that it has become a tire supplier for the original equipment of the new electric compact crossover Subaru Uncharted, which will be introduced to the North American market in December 2025. 

The Uncharted is equipped with all-season tires Yokohama Geolandar X-CV in size 235/50 R20, designed to provide a balance between safety, comfort, durability, and fuel efficiency, and suitable for moderate off-road driving, as well as bearing the M+S marking. 

The sidewalls also feature a new E+ symbol, which Yokohama uses to denote tires adapted to the characteristics of electric vehicles, distinguished, for example, by reduced rolling resistance and noise, and developed using the HAICoLab AI-based platform. 

As part of its medium-term development plan, Yokohama is increasing sales of high-value-added products, including by expanding supplies of Geolandar line tires for crossovers and SUVs in the original equipment segment, the company notes.
