Yokohama supplies tires for the Lexus RZ
Yokohama began supplying Geolandar X-CV tires for the electric crossover Lexus RZ, which was introduced to the North American market in November 2025 after a facelift. In Japan, the company continues to equip the latest RZ with ADVAN V61 tires, which were also homologated for the previous generation model.
According to the manufacturer, the Yokohama Geolandar X-CV tires are designed to improve the balance between safety, comfort, durability, and economy, and have the M+S marking. In addition, the sidewalls also feature the E+ symbol, which indicates that the tires have been adapted to the unique characteristics of electric vehicles, i.e., they have increased wear resistance, as well as reduced noise and rolling resistance. The HAICoLab platform based on artificial intelligence was used to improve the tire's properties.

Geolandar X-CV tires are installed on the Lexus RZ in the size 235/50 R20, while the ADVAN V61 tires are available in sizes 235/60 R18 at the front and 255/55 R18 at the rear, or in the size 235/60 R18 on both axles. Previously, Geolandar X-CV tires were also approved for equipping such Lexus models as the LX and GX550.
As part of its three-year development plan YX2026, the company aims to increase sales of high-margin products, including by expanding supplies from the Geolandar line for equipping new crossovers, SUVs, and pickups.
