Yokohama provides assistance to flooded Thai villages

Yokohama Rubber's Thai natural rubber processing subsidiary, Y.T. Rubber Co., Ltd. (YTRC), has provided relief packages to residents of Thai villages affected by flooding in December 2021. The floods were caused by heavy rainfall in Surat Thani Province, where YTRC is located.

YTRC provided packages consisting of 5 kg of rice and twelve 500 ml PET bottles to each of the 383 households in two neighboring villages. The packages were distributed while taking necessary measures to prevent potential Covid-19 infection. The recent flood affected more households than the one in 2020, and village heads expressed their appreciation for YTRC's efforts, noting that the company's donations after both disasters demonstrate its ongoing commitment to caring for the village residents.
