A new Cooper tire for regional transportation has been released
Goodyear introduced a new all-position truck tire, the Cooper Work Series RHA 2 for regional and super-regional transportation, which has been certified by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under the SmartWay program and optimized for increased mileage.

The rubber compound of the new Cooper tires was designed to improve both handling and fuel efficiency, while the five-rib tread pattern with solid shoulder zones improves even wear and makes the tires more durable. Additionally, the ribbed sidewall grooves prevent stone trapping, preventing damage to the casing and increasing the tires' retreadability, and the wear indicator allows for quick determination of when a tire needs to be replaced.

"The super-regional segment continues to evolve, with routes between loading and unloading centers getting shorter, and the focus is on increasing proximity to fleets that deliver the last mile," said Joe Berk, vice president of Goodyear's truck tire division in North America. "The new Cooper Work Series RHA 2 meets the needs of this market, as it is made from a rubber compound with increased resistance to wear, and it is a reliable tire suitable for both long hauls and urban traffic."
The new tires are available in size 285/75 R24.5.
