Return of Gislaved bear

Russia is traditionally associated with the bear. One of the largest tire plants located in Yaroslavl even produced a tire under the MEDVED brand. Perhaps because the bear is generally a symbol of the city in Yaroslavl. Nevertheless, let's put it mildly, this tire brand had a lot to grow. What cannot be said about the Gislaved brand, whose symbol is also a bear. Gislaved gained widespread popularity a long time ago and enjoyed great demand from buyers for many years. Since the brand's transition to Continental, Gislaved tires have become even more flagship models. A good example is the "Gislaved Nord Frost 200", which features a once-popular tread pattern from Continental ContiIceContact 2.

A great disappointment came with the news that the Gislaved brand would no longer be represented on the Russian market. Car owners tried in vain to find tires of the familiar brand on the shelf. Alas, such are the realities of the market, and the company decided to withdraw the brand from the offer in our country.

Everything changes, and the plant in Kaluga now belongs to the S8 Capital holding. Together with the plant, the company acquired the rights to the well-known brand. Now the Gislaved bear is returning to the Russian market, which is being met with great enthusiasm by both tire specialists and buyers. At the same time, the excellent news is that top Continental models will be produced under the well-known brand. The lineup includes four tire models for passenger cars and SUVs.

Gislaved UltraControl. Tires with a pattern from Continental UltraContact, which are characterized by reduced rolling resistance, increasing fuel efficiency. The model is brand new and was presented in 2022.

Gislaved PremiumControl. Comfort-class tires that were once known to our car enthusiast as Continental ContiPremiumContact 5.

Gislaved TerraControl. Highway tires for SUV and SUV car owners, previously known under the Continental ContiCrossContact LX2 brand,

Gislaved TerraControl ATR. Universal off-road tires with a design from Continental CrossContact ATR
