Volkswagen has selected Continental EcoContact 7 for the new ID. Polo model

Volkswagen has approved Continental EcoContact 7 summer tyres as original equipment (OE) for the ID. Polo electric vehicle. The model will be fitted with 17- and 18-inch tyres designed to deliver low rolling resistance and extended mileage.

The tyre design features "Aerodimple" technology—depressions on the sidewalls that reduce air turbulence—and a "Silent Pattern" tread design to minimize noise in urban driving conditions. In addition to the summer version, Volkswagen recommends the "WinterContact TS 870 P" tyres for winter use and the "AllSeasonContact 2" for all-season performance.
