In the USA, more than 4000 EP Tyres tires have been recalled

EP Tyres company received a letter from the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), stating that the Office of Vehicle Safety Compliance tested the LT265/65R18 Accelera Omikron A/T tires of the Indonesian tire manufacturer for compliance with FMVSS 139, the local legislation on new pneumatic radial tires for light vehicles. 

According to the NHTSA letter, during the tests conducted by Smithers MCE, Inc., delamination of the sidewall near the bead area was found during the visual inspection after the test, which represents a "possible noncompliance".
